Jesus: true & better

We are so thrilled to announce our next group study, “Jesus: True and Better”! This study is a deep dive of Hebrews 1-7, which highlights Christ’s supremacy in many ways.

Want some details? Jesus: True and Better is a 10 week study, but can be altered to 8-9 weeks if your group needs a shorter schedule. As with all of our studies, we follow a rhythm of personal study first, followed by a group discussion, and ending with teaching, which can be accessed by video on our YouTube channel or by audio on our podcast.

This study is designed specifically to come alongside women desiring to grow in their Bible study skills. Throughout the study you will learn and utilize Bible study tools to help you understand, interpret, and apply Scripture. The companion guide also includes the entire book of Hebrews in the English Standard Version at the back so you can mark it up with all the note-taking your heart desires!

“Jesus: True and Better” is available for free as a digital download from the shop, here on our website. We never want finances to prevent anyone from accessing our resources. We do encourage you to pay it forward if you feel so led so we can continue in our mission for women to know, believe, and share God’s Word in Dayton, OH and beyond!

There are two versions of this companion guide: single sided and double sided.

The Companion Guide includes a full plan for leading and participating in this study:

  • Weekly homework

  • Weekly group discussion questions

  • Double-spaced copy of Hebrews for reading and annotating

  • Links to the weekly teaching videos

  • An overview of study tools to enrich your time in the Word

  • Additional resources to accompany your study

  • Suggestions for group leaders

The “Jesus: True & Better” Companion Guide is the only place you will find the Hebrews Scripture Print Out.
The Single Sided PDF is 138 pages/sheets.
The Double Sided PDF is 148 pages, 74 total printed sheets.

In addition to the Companion Guide, you will use the weekly teachings. These are available on the Dayton Women in the Word YouTube channel. The teachings are also available in audio format through our podcast.

RESOURCES FOR FURTHER STUDY

The Dayton Women in the Word team does not wholly endorse any resource but the Word of God. With any resource given, we urge you to hold it up against the truths in Scripture and ask the Holy Spirit for help in wisdom and discernment regarding the content in that resource.
