2 Timothy || Session 4: 2 Timothy 1:15-2:13
In Session 4 of our Summer Study, Daisy presents four patterns, or pictures, of what laboring for the gospel can look like. We will talk about the soldier, the athlete, and the farmer, and finally, Jesus, our ultimate example of endurance. It is Jesus who we continually remember to give us strength for the work and suffering for the gospel. Paul ends this section with a little poetry, a hymn of praise that he interjects into the middle of this letter to Timothy. To find many of the resources mentioned throughout the lecture, be sure to check out the 2 Timothy Companion Guide and the 2 Timothy Week 4 Resource page.

Daisy wants to live in a world where peony bouquets are an accessory, the art of handwritten notes is restored, and every afternoon is spent with a cup of tea and great shortbread. When she's not raising her three littles, she is dating the love of her life, cooking, and gathering others around her table. Creating real community makes her heart beat wildly, because she believes that we know Jesus more intimately when we know each other well. One of her favorite verses is Psalm 27:13-14.
