Marissa Snider {S1 E6}
This week, Jillian and Mindy welcome Marissa Snider to the podcast. Marissa wants to live in a world where Jesus has returned and brought to completion all that he's begun. (Amen!)
When she’s not trying to figure out life and language in the Middle Eastern city where she lives, you can find her learning about "crunchy" things like essential oils, herbs, and fermented food/drinks. She also has the new privilege of trying to figure out how to be a mom!
Her favorite scripture is 2 Corinthians 12:9-10: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
Throughout the podcast, Marissa chats with this week's hosts, Jillian and Mindy, about the following references and resources:
- University of Dayton
- Apex Community Church
- Bible Gateway Reading Plan
- Discovery Bible Study (basic resource; in-depth resource)
- Lectio Divina (helpful articles here and here)
