Naomi Callahan {S3 E12}
This week, our sister Naomi Callahan joins us on the DWITW Podcast! God has cultivated confidence in Naomi's prayers, grown through the knowledge of God's love and by evacuating debilitating fear from her life. Now, Naomi prays "BUT GOD" prayers and encourages us to do the same.
Naomi wants to live in a world where weeds don't exist, baked mac & cheese constitutes a healthy balanced meal, and electronics are an afterthought. When she's not actively serving in her roles as wife, mom, wellness coach, volleyball coach, substitute teacher, and prayer team leader, you can find her encouraging the people God brings into her life. Through her life, she has seen and wants other people to "taste and see that the Lord is good" (Psalm 34:8).
Naomi's favorite Scripture is Ephesians 5:8-14, NRSV:
"For once you were darkness, but now in the Lord you are light. Live as children of light— for the fruit of the light is found in all that is good and right and true. Try to find out what is pleasing to the Lord. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what such people do secretly; but everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for everything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,
“Sleeper, awake!
Rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”
