Transformed | Kwana Jones-Becker {S4 E17}
Today, Kwana Jones-Becker joins us on the podcast! On this episode, Kwana shares how the verses Ephesians 2:8, Romans 5:8, and 1 Timothy 1:14 have transformed her thinking in allowing her to give grace to herself and to others, especially in the area of motherhood. A gem from this chat with Kwana is: "There's a way to get glory for God in EVERYTHING." We agree!
Kwana wants to live in a world where we all love as Jesus loved (as this would solve all of our worldly problems)…and then life would be bliss! When she's not ministering to her son, Carsen, as a stay at home mom, you can find her leading the MOPS Kids Team at Centerville Community Church, volunteering weekly at her son’s school, at the gym, or even on a run/walk around the neighborhood.
Her recent favorite Scriptures are as follows:
Ephesians 2:8 (NIV) "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."
Romans 5:8 (NIV) "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
1 Timothy 1:14 (NIV) "The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly; along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus."
