Jennifer Squire {S3 E5}
Today we welcome back our dear sister and former DWITW team member, Jennifer Squire. In this episode, Jen invites us to get low with her. In cultivating humility and practicing confession, Jen has grown in her understanding of her own desperate need for God. "Prayer reorients us to where we are supposed to be. I'm not God. Who am I to put myself in the position of God?"
Jennifer wants to live in a world where we actively seek Shalom: the absence of conflict and the presence of wholeness. When she's not chasing four small kiddos and attempting to keep them alive you can find her napping.
Jen's favorite Scripture is 2 Corinthians 12:8-10 (ESV): "Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
