Transformed | Barb Spencer {S4 E11}
This week, we have Barb Spencer joining us on the podcast! On this episode, Barb shares about how Hebrews 4:14-16 and 1 John 4:18 were planted in her heart in a time where comfort and peace were needed. God showed her that, in her own strength, she didn't have what it takes to go through a husband having cancer, but that instead He would give her His strength that was needed at the right time. She tells of how the cancer battle was actually a gift because it has helped them to glorify and honor God, and be able to sympathize with others.
Barb wants to live in a world where everyone knows Christ and lives for Him! When she's not working at home and caring for their special needs daughter, you can find her reading or journaling - or better yet, visiting her children and grandchildren.
Some Scriptures Barb loves and have great meaning for her have been: Genesis 22 and 1 John 4:18 (ESV), "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love."
